Twenty-five years making documentaries has taught me one thing: every story has a spine - the art is finding it.

For more than two decades I’ve helped shape documentaries from development through production and post, creating one-off films and series for the BBC, Channel 4, Discovery, VICE and Netflix.

Across a career in documentary filmmaking, I’ve learned that great stories aren’t built from individual moments, they’re found in the thread that connects them. Whether in pre-production, shooting on location or shaping the narrative in the edit, my focus is always the same: to find the story that’s already there.

Today I bring that same documentary mindset to independent films, branded storytelling and creative collaborations.

Based in Vancouver, I work with broadcasters, production companies and brands to help shape films from the earliest ideas through to the final cut.
